Grid Master Points – Tasks – Rewards – OSRS

Grid Master is an upcoming community event launching on October 15th, 2025 and running for four weeks. Grid Master will be a temporary game mode where players will start with fresh accounts to complete tasks presented in a 7×7 bingo grid. Completing any individual task will provide a reward, while completing full rows or columns of the grid will give the player special, more powerful rewards.

Overview

Grid Master will be a bingo-based community event. Players will compete to complete tasks presented to them in a 7×7 grid. Completing tasks will grant rewards for use on the Grid Master community event worlds and will accumulate Grid Points for use in purchasing rewards on the main OSRS worlds. Grid Master will be accessible both by members and free-to-play players, who will be able to complete a small selection of tasks.

Event-specific worlds will have accelerated experience gain, unlimited run energy, and modified drop rates.

The bingo grid system is intended to be polled for implementation within the main game worlds as well. Players would be able to design their own task lists and share with others.

Tasks

Some tasks will be revealed before the start of the event. The following have been revealed so far, listed in algebraic notation (similar to chess):

Column Row Description Members
A 1 Obtain a rare unique from Tombs of Amascut.
A 4 Gain over 30,000 coins from one Alchemy spell.
D 1 Defeat the lesser demon in the Wizards’ Tower.
D 4 Complete the Grid Master tutorial.
D 7 Kill an Ogress.
E 7 Defeat Jal-Zek within the Inferno.

Grid Master was announced with a teaser trailer, showing a player with a bingo card with the following symbols on it:

  • Gnomeball
  • Cabbage
  • Steel pickaxe
  • Oathplate chest
  • Tombs of Amascut Wardens invocation icon
  • Fancy boots
  • Fire cape
  • Awakener’s orb
  • Scurrius

Though still unconfirmed, it is possible some, if not all of these, are related to tasks that will be present in the final set of tasks.

In the teaser trailer, completed tasks are shown to turn green on the player’s bingo board. At a later point in the video, the squares with the fire cape and oathplate chest turn red after the player is defeated by TzTok-Jad and Yama respectively, possibly indicating some challenges may not be attempted more than once.

Unlocks

As players complete tile tasks, as well as fill out rows or columns of tiles on the grid, they will be granted special rewards to enhance their journey. These unlocks include powerful items, quest auto-completions, and relics. Some of these items and relics will be from prior Leagues.
