Hello and welcome to my Grid Master guide. This guide is going over my personal route and relic choices for the first few hours of Grid Master, similar to how I’ve done in the past with Leagues. Things will change before release, so make sure to set reminders if the guide does change.
For my route, I am going to be running the Power Miner relic as it will provide utility out the ass relating to early game relic achievements like Resources for ranged training, Fight Caves prep, and more.
THIS RELIC PICK IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
Stop asking about maging the ogress, taking prayer for combatant, or invalidating the guide due to your own route in the chat. My final statement for all is that this is the guide I have planned for my route, and what I find most efficient. Don’t follow the guide if you don’t want to. I have now heard each of these comments from multiple people, and I won’t keep repeating myself. Enjoy 🙂
Part 1: THE IDEAL ROUTE CURRENTLY FOR WHAT IS REVEALED
1. Spawn in, buy a spade, do the tutorial and claim Power Miner. Head north and get 10 fletching, 13 agility, 13 thieving, and 17 mining at the gem crab.You’ll want to hit 20 smithing after you’re done mining.
2. Go buy around 14 wines at draynor market, for stronghold and the upcoming quest.

Go do stronghold of security for that phat ass 10k
Lumbridge TP, Go to Django in Draynor to pick up a Chronicle with 5 charges
Chronicle TP to go to varrock afterwards
Buy some mind/air/fire/6 earth/6 water runes at Aubrey
50 casts of air strike and about 150 casts of fire strike
Grab a jug at the general store, fill it with water
Grab mithril and adamant longswords at the sword shop
4. 1A. Magic Levels 1-21: Defense Levels 1-20
Grab a dragonfire shield by duke, then go kill Goblins, Cows, or Chickens and Pick up a chef hat from a goblin. If you run out runes, buy more from Aubrey. You’ll need about 20 casts or so for The Tourist Trap.
1B. Magic Levels 21-30: Defense Levels 1-20
Gemstone Crab
To get to the Gemstone crab take the quetzal in varrock to get over to Civitas illa Fortis. Claim Gatherer after it burrows, select Slayer as the main, Agility and Mining.
5. Bring your wines/gp and head over to shantay pass and complete The Tourist Trap. You can safespot the mercenary captain by corner trapping him. His max hit is a 5.
PUT YOUR QUEST XP REWARD INTO THIEVING AND AGILITY ONLY.
6. Chronicle TP and Complete Children Of The Sun. use the quetzal, then run southwest to the sunset coast and take the boat for 30 gp to Aldarin. then go complete Death On The Isle.
7. Buy an Uncut Sapphire in Aldarin. Then cut it. Then sell it. Then go up to Emerald. Then buy it. Then cut it. Then sell it. Then Ruby. Then buy it. Then cut it. Then sell it.
8. When you have around 200k (you’ll need it) Get to 50 thieving by opening aldarin villa chests. Head back to varlamore and steal a valuable, then claim Golden God. Also, pick up an adamant kiteshield here.
9. Begin low alching stacks of items immediately. (Arrowshafts work)
10. Chronicle TP and go buy 1 tall box hedge (bagged) from falador park.
Hold on to your coins.
11. Low Alch the tall box hedge for Production Prodigy.
12. Edgeville lever to Ardougne and head south to do Monk’s Friend.
13. Chop Trees/Oaks/Willows until 45 woodcutting, then chop a maple and claim the (((RELIC))), then use those logs to fletch up to 13+12 fletching and 30 firemaking. Complete Sea Slug.
14. Home teleport back to lumbridge, then take the boat in al kharid to the ruins of unkah to get a tempoross kill. Unlock Artisan, Choose Construction into Herblore and Runecrafting.
15. Chronicle TP and return to varrock. Pickup some runes and a staff for Earth Bolt, then you’re set to go kill the ogress for shared XP. Grab enough food (preferably 5-10 wines or so to be safe) and take your closest charter ship to corsair cove. Go into the dungeon. At 30 magic with Earth Bolt the kill should take about 120 seconds. There are safe spots available for killing the warrior ogress.
16. After unlocking Combatant, select Str, Magic, and Ranged.
you have a couple choices, but since everybody is so picky about prayer, go ahead and pick it if you want. You won’t be utilizing it past 43 and 70 anywho and it’s honestly noob bait with chaos altar and golden god access available.
Now that Combatant, Golden God, and Artisan are unlocked, let’s get cooking.
Part 2: Golden God and Melee Training
- Starting this section off, you’re going to want to complete the Waterfall Quest. This will help get your melee stats rounded.
- After the waterfall quest, we now begin golden god spamming.
Start your golden god journey by following these steps:
1. Get about 100k from Horviks by high alching platebodies, any of them work. Make sure you are able to high alch at least 5 at a time.
2. Go to Krystillia and start buying slayer staffs. alching Slayer Staffs for profit. Keep going until you have about 500k to work with. It should literally take you about 1-2 minutes.
- Before continuing since you’ll be in the area, complete Black Knights Fortress. Afterwards, head to falador and complete Recruitment Drive. Buy your full initiate set and bank it.
4. You will be buying the same Tall Box Hedge (Bagged) and alching that from falador park. Keep going until you have about 5m.
6. Head to the Varlamore stone mason, start again on magic stones.
5. Once you have about 22m, proceed to gamble in keldagrim or varlamore by buying Condensed Gold and casting high alch on it, build the stack as high as you want. Good luck. Repeat steps if you lost your money.
- Once you finish your Golden God, Go grab prayer at any chaos altar (NOT VARROCK) with your cash stack. You’ll need around 50+ prayer, stay as long as you want.
- Go kill Moss giants for a mossy key (wildy has the highest key drop chance)
Then kill bryophyta for Brawlers Resolve.
**ASSUMING 8X FROM THIS POINT**
- Head back to varrock and complete daddy’s home. Afterwards, complete mahogany homes contracts until 37 Construction. This will cover you for both prayer potions and the future use of magical balances.
- Keep up your high alching now that you’re all finished until you’re 99 in every shared skill.
- If you haven’t killed the lesser demon, unfortunately you will have to now unless you want to take a major DPS hit. Claim Minimum Potential Or Suffer 25% less DPS in the fight caves.
- Grab a Dorgeshuun Crossbow and bolts below Lumbridge castle in the caves. Remember to bring a light source.
Part 3: Fight Caves Prep
- Take a charter ship over to Port Piscarilius, Fishing Emporium.
Start cooking to 68+12 cooking.
Cooking Guide:
Level 5 for herring, level 18 for cod, level 30 for tuna, level 40 for lobster, and finally level 45 for swordfish.
Buy about 19 inventories (540) of raw swordfish.
buy a raw shark once you are 68+12 cooking. Cook it on a stove with your chef hat on to unlock the Corrupted Shark. - Next, go kill chaos druids or forgotten souls for your ranarr’s, kwuarms, and irits. You’ll need 10 ranarrs, 2 kwuarms, and 2 irits. Make super attack, strength, and prayer pots after the next section (you’ll be 92 herb lmfao)
KHOPESH TIME:
If for some reason you are absolutely boned with no minimum potential and you skipped steps, Khopesh is here to save the day.
with the multiplier and shit, this is easy.
Elemental Balance 1 will give you 1,408 XP to just start out.
Elemental Balance 2 unlocks at 57 construction, gives 2,016 XP
Elemental Balance 3 unlocks at 77 construction, gives 2,848 XP
Marble wall unlocks at 79 construction, they give 32,000 XP
Crystal Throne unlocks at 95 construction, they give 120,000 XP
Unlock Khopesh by building the Demonic Throne.
- A. With your gear, you should have something that looks like the following:
Hybrid Loadout with: Dorgeshuun Crossbow, Bone Bolts, Corrupted Shark, Initiate Armor, Khopesh, 6-8 prayer potions, 2 Super Attack Potions, 2 Super Strength Potions. - Fully kitted, you’re now ready for the fight caves. Go send it scrub. Only pray for magers btw 🙂
- After getting your fire cape, get the world record by sacrificing it to the inferno.
- Do the inferno up until you get to the mager at wave 35. I highly recommend watching a guide to avoid time loss if you are not comfortable yet with the inferno 🙂 <3
- After killing the mager, get your slayer master and die. You won’t be doing the inferno right now unless you’re w00x or good at the game.
