Summary:
Bringing noted bones to the chaos altar in the Wilderness is much better than suiciding for every inventory of bones. You will lose more bones this way, but having almost double processing speed more than makes up for the extra risk.
Bringing 200–250 bones per trip is recommended for both speed and risk. If the altar is busy, consider only bringing 150–200 bones per trip. At the very minimum you should bring 100 bones per trip.
Kicking rats > LMS for looting bags unless you can get more than ~30 LMS points/h.
No LMS points
To start off, get locator orbs from Ava and deathpile your items.
- Pick up the construction cape and 1 locator orb.
- Kick rats slightly north-east of Ferox Enclave for a looting bag.
- Take noted dragon bones from the deathpile at the Prifddinas respawn point.
- Right-click deposit the looting bag and store noted bones into your looting bag so you’re left with 250 dragon bones in the inventory.
- Lower your hitpoints with the locator orb while running to the Prifddinas respawn point.
- Drop the small stack of noted bones and pickpocket an elf to suicide.
- Pick up the small stack of noted bones and 1 locator orb.
- Take 12.5k coins from the servant’s moneybag.
- Use the Ghorrock portal in your POH and offer the bones at the chaos altar, unnoting the bones at the elder chaos druid. When you’re out of bones, lower your hitpoints with the locator orb and suicide to the wine of zamorak.
- Grab more locator orbs as needed, and reset your deathpile every 45–50 minutes.
With LMS points
